Experience the magic of a Nevisian holiday where the spirit of the festive season brings warmth and good cheer to friends and family, residents at home and abroad. The Nevis Tourism Authority (NTA) presents the fourth edition of ‘Nothing Like A Nevisian Holiday.’ This event will embrace the holiday spirit while showcasing the amazing talents which reside on our island.
The grand celebration will feature exhilarating performances by the Ceolis Choir, David Dynasty Masquerade and the Honey Bee String Band, Rhythms Dance Theater, melodious steelpan by NCD Steel Orchestra, performance by reigning Culturama Groovy King 2023, Delly Ranks as well as Speedy.
Enjoy pitching (marble) and a friendly game of cricket embracing the traditions of the island. The local chefs will showcase a variety of traditional dishes along with a bread making demonstration. Souvenirs such as soaps, artworks and much more will be there for purchase to make the perfect holiday gifts.
The Hon. Eric Evelyn, Minister of Culture et. al will serve as host for the event. We are inviting everyone to share in our festive celebration and experience our favorite holiday traditions on Saturday 9th December, 2023 at the Nevisian Heritage Village. Gates open at 2pm to 7pm.
The event will also be streamed live on @Nevis Naturally social media, Facebook and Youtube. Be sure to tune in between 4:00pm – 7:00pm AST (3:00pm – 6:00pm EST) for the ‘Nothing Like A Nevisian Holiday’ fun filled variety showcase.
