Girls Illuminated stands as a non-profit organization, birthed by the collaborative efforts of Ms. Winnielle Pereira and Destinee Guilbert, a mother-daughter duo who pioneered this movement and program. The minds behind the organization sought to curate a holistic, unique, enlightening summer program, focused on the health and wellness of the mind, body, and spirit that also empowers women.
As the young women participate in a variety of activities to improve their overall well-being, they learn to embrace the power of unity and friendship.
