The captivating island of Nevis ensures this holiday will be one to remember
Charlestown, Nevis December 06, 2021… The past two years have been met with canceled holiday festivities, sadness, and despair as the world battled a pandemic, so now Nevisians are back bigger than ever.
This year, everyone on the island of Nevis, Nevisians and holidaymakers alike, will celebrate and party to welcome back the holiday festivities, during this year’s specially curated event ‘Nothing Like a Nevisian Holiday.’ The festive event will present traditional delights from local vendors, showcasing a wide range of culinary and decorative creations. Music to get you singing and swaying during the day will be supplied by the talented Honey Bees String Band and the harmonious Coelis Choir. The traditional Masquerade will weave through the event to bring the holiday vibes and the young people on the island will be entertained with storytelling sessions throughout the day.
Jadine Yarde, CEO of the Nevis Tourism Authority says: “We are delighted to be able to come together after two years to bring ‘Nothing Like a Nevisian Holiday’ to the island. Nevis is built on celebration and togetherness, and we’ve all really missed it.”
“There will be necessary precautions in place to maintain the safety of all attendees but that won’t stop us having a great time with family and friends old and new, to celebrate this festive season.”
Nothing Like a Nevisian Holiday will take place from 3pm to 7pm at The Hermitage Inn on December 18th, 2021. Tickets can be purchased directly from the hotel on entry to the event.
For those of you unable to attend the event please take part in the festivities virtually on Facebook (@nevisnaturally), YouTube, and all SKN media platforms.
