A seamless connection to sister island Nevis via water taxi.
InterCaribbean Airways has begun a new service between Barbados and St. Kitts which makes
connections to its sister island Nevis much easier. The Barbados to St. Kitts service is available three times a week. The Embraer – 120 aircraft with a capacity of 30 passengers will operate on Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
The flight departs Barbados at 10:40 a.m. and arrives to St. Kitts at 12:10 p.m. It then departs St. Kitts at 12:50 p.m. and arrives in Barbados at 2:20 p.m.
Getting to Nevis is relatively easy. After arriving at St. Kitts, passengers can take a short scenic taxi ride to Reggae Beach, the closest point between the two islands. A water taxi will take you on a seven (7) minutes journey across the Narrows to Nevis which is only 2.5 miles away. Regular ferry boats are also an option to get you from Basseterre, the capital of St. Kitts, to Charlestown, the capital of Nevis. Ferry times range between 30 – 45 minutes.
The InterCaribbean flight also has connecting service to Dominica, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and Guyana.
