Mandevilla is just a short, 5 minute walk to the sea, in a peaceful area of Nevis, a beautiful, unspoiled island, with quiet beaches and a surprising amount to do and see. The home was built during 2001/2002 to a plan by a local architect, with the intention of combining typical local design features with modern facilities, and was designed to offer privacy if you are part of a group with large open spaces for everyone to gather in comfort.

The villa has five large bedrooms all with their own bathroom and AC unit. There are two bedrooms in the central part of the villa, one with a queen bed and one with two twins. There are also two bedrooms in their own pods on either side of the main house, each having a queen size bed. The 5th bedroom is located downstairs and is accessed via an outside staircase. It has two twin beds and its own small porch looking over the backyard for a great view of the monkeys when they come to visit.

Outside there is a large deck with a swimming pool, an upstairs viewing deck, which has wonderful views of the Narrows and the neighboring island of St. Kitts, and about three quarters of an acre of gardens with many attractive trees and plants, running down to a ghaut, a dry river bed.
